Basic Synopsis: Val Kilmer is John Holmes, the legendary 70s porn star, after the climax (he he) of his career. He is a drug addict, partying and binging nonstop, hanging with the wrong people. A police investigation of the brutal murder of 4 people puts him at the crime scene. This movie tells the two versions of what happened on Wonderland Ave on the morning of July 1st, 1981.

Stars Val Kilmer, Kate Bosworth, Ted Levine, Josh Lucas, Lisa Kudrow...

Rated: R for strong violence/grisly images, pervasive drug use and language, some sexuality/nudity.

My opinion: A little bit too disturbing at the end to be a good stoner film, but before that has all the signs of a great stoner movie: Flashy editing, lots of drug use, rock and roll soundtrack, etc. Movie was good, Val Kilmer awesome like usual, interesting take on the Wonderland murders, definitely great movie for a true story.

I would recommend it for sure.
