I loveed the movie as well. A little dark, very dysfunctional......suits my tastes quite well. There are movies I thought were funnier this year, but not many. This was has gotten much more critical acclaim than my other choices (Clerks 2 anyone?). AS a "mainstream" type of movie, it was priceless

I saw this movie last night and I LOVED it!

I agree, the girl who plays Olive did an amazing job. I'm going to have to watch it again tonight. So many emotions mixed into one...hard to explain but this movie made me think about a lot of things.
For those who have seen it...as a mother, the part when she decides whether or not she should perform, hit me hard. It made me think, what would I do if my daughter was in a similar situation. All I can say...great movie!!!

I'm a HUGE Clerks fan but was disappointed in Clerks 2. I expected more. I guess I was expecting it to be as good as the first but IMO, I don't think it even compared to the original - as could be said with most sequels.

One of my fav lines,..

"Try not to suck any dick on the way to the parking lot!"

Yeah haha I love Clerks. That's just such a great, and true, scene when he is getting all pissed at her about how many blowjobs she's given before, I can see that scene happening in any couple in America and that's why its so funny.

Bad Brains

I really enjoyed little miss sunshine but did anyone notice how Steve Carell runs with his hands to the side, I thought that was pretty funny. Also, Clerks 2 was pretty good but of course it wasn't as good as the original but hey, it's hard to top a classic.

"I saw Litte Miss Sunshine a couple days ago while trying some firecrackers that WORKED for the first time, and was in a completely 'stoned' 'feel good' mood and just hella chill watchin the movie. Then smoked a welcome home blunt my friend rolled fomr his welcome back! Ha, he had just come back from Utah with his new car so he is BALLIN!!!! Ha.

The movie was great. I really started to get into it when the grandpa just pulled out some coke and did a line. "What the! Drugs?" HA. so A very good movie indeed."

i havnt seen it yet
i was gonna buy it but saw BeerFest and Talladega nights (i was looking for Strangers with candy)
but i already saw Talladega nights so i got beerfest (and i DO NOT regret that perches)

but i have been thinking about little miss sunshine and after reading your guy's posts i have decided i will get it...along with a few other movies
