All I can say is that I watched almost every episode until two years ago when they announced "no new episodes until 2006."

Fuck that. You really think they can captivate my enthusiasm for that long.

I don't have a TV either so I wouldn't watch it anyway.

But there isn't a thread on the show yet.

So, discuss anything Soprano related here...

I think the Sopranos is pretty cool. The 1 st. season was great then it kinda went down hill. The 2nd to last season w/Tony in the coma was a bit strange. They spent a little too much time with the guy who was gay, especially if they were just going to knock him off. I think it's getting better, but I think there is only one more season. Will they ever bust Tony or will he get killed......hmmmmm
Anyway I can't wait for the season of the Lost . I'm gonna have to find some threads in here about that show. Anyone here into it?

If you're saying you didn't stick around to watch in 2006 then you are not a fan. I have seen every episode and I was there the night it came back in 2006. Now I can't wait till 2007 to see the last few episodes.

It's gunna be sad when it's over. I fucking love that show.

Ok, lets see. I have seasons 1-5 on DVD. I own Uncle Jun's CD, the sopranos cookbook, 2 Bada Bing shirts, A Sopranos Hoodie, A Barone Construction Hat...I have pretty much memorized every line word for word from 1-4. I used to be a webmaster for a Sopranos site, before the 2nd season even came about. Giving my creditials...all I can say is 2006 was the worst year for Sopranos BY FAR. Just check the ratings and better yet the feedback from loyal fans. Although alot has been going on in 2006 for me(new baby, new job..55-60hrs/week) I felt I did my duty as a fan and watched as much as possible. But seeing how the story line completely fell apart...so did I. The first hint of downfall ended with Tony and Carm's divorce. That didn't need to be there, but was a quick turn to bring on plenty of new and ultimately horrible backburner storylines.

What we are left with are 3 options...and only 3.

1. T gets whacked(who,what, when,where,why are up to the NEW writers)

2. Indicted (win or lose the trial...the fans will be the losers on this line)

3. Happily ever after.


These are my opinions on what once was the greatest show. Give me a new Entourage or ...Sunny in Phil and Ill be happy now

Then I guess I'm not a fan. I don't really have a TV to watch it on and I can't download anything copyrighted on my current internet connection... so unless you want to mail me the taped versions of season 6 (must be on DVD cause I don't have a VCR) then I'll gladly give you my address so I can become a "fan."

Secondly, I was like 10 years old when season one came out.

So, no I wouldn't really consider myself a FAN, as you define it. I've watched five seasons though and think it's a good show. So I made a thread about it.

Again, I didn't catch season 6 but I might watch it on DVD at my friend's place sometime.

It reminds me of the Harry Potter books. I was a kid when the first one came out, and am gonna be married with children by the time the series is finished, haha. Just get it over with already. I'm not one for waiting two years for a new season of a show.

Is anybody watcing season 6? In my opinion the most recent episodes don't have any substance. It's kind of a downer because it used to be a satisfying show but now it's lost it's appeal in a way.

I just started watching this a while back, but the only rental places close to my house are usually either out of the DVD I need, or just don't have that certain DVD. Ugh.

this season has been pretty good. kind of funny finding out that AJ is a suicidal freak. besides that, in the last episode, both Cil and Bobby were killed. it's awesome. in the last episode, i bet tony will get killed. stay tuned.
