| What a great film...and the special fx were especially nice. Was it produced by the same ones who did "Drugstore Cowboy"? Some of the fx when the drugs were used looked similar. "We've got a winner" pOOn |

| I just watched 'Requiem' again last night. I kept talking about it so a few of my friends finally decided they'd watch it too. They loved it as well. I noticed a few more things too. The psychiatrist that Marian goes to for money is the lead actor from 'Pi' and the guy who handles the whole t.v. buy-back situation is the creepy old guy who dies in 'Pi'. I love when directors sneak in little references to their other movies. Kevin Smith does this a lot in his movies too. Peace. Nessa

| "Oh sh*t, you got yourself a white driver!" *bang* Requiem had me depressed for a couple o' days after watching it, really weird effect. I recommend it, but not if you're trying to have a happy day. Also, check out Trainspotting. I'm surprised that wasn't mentioned, that is indeed a good one. "Choose life." | |

| Trainspotting is also another one of those movies that will depress you in weird ways after watching it. I fancy Ewan McGregor and everything he does. I pride myself in watching every movie of his though I have yet to see 'Moulin Rouge' because it never came to my small podunk town. I am sure Trainspotting was mentioned way before m.com had the server die so maybe we should start a new thread... "Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a f'in big television. Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose leisure wear an' matching luggage. Choose sittin' on that couch watchin' mind-numbing, spirit-crushin game shows, stuffing f'in junk food into your mouth; rottin' away at the end of it all, pishin your last in a miserable home nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, f'ed up brats that you've spawned to replace yourselves. Choose your future. Choose Life. I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin' else. Peace. Nessa |

| Snatch is an awesome movie. Another good movie bt Guy Ritchie is Lockstock and Two Smoking Barrles. Kinda the same storyline and film style as Snatch, but still a good movie. Even more enjoyable after a few dank zong hits! _ \ \ / / \ \ / /=~~~(smoke) (__) (not the best illustration of a zong but good enough)

| Very good movie about addiction of drugs. Basically it shows the lives of 2 best friends, a girlfriend, and a mother who all get ****ed up and each have thier own seperate ending. It is very realistic too. Oh and if anyone decides to rent it, try to get the NC-17 version, it has a lot more detail ![]() | |

| Yup drama... This movie was really weird. I only watched it once, but I think I'll pop it in again soon. It's kinda hard to follow - I think because I was just as ****ed up as the main characters. Muhahahhahahha. Just my two cents... Paulie420 |

| Uh, you guys should see Pi. it's directed by the same guy. My friends saw requiem for a dream but they brought it back before i could see it. Pi is about a mathemetician that tetters on the brink of insanity trying to figure out the meaning of everything with numbers |
