Saw it for the first time yesterday. I thought it was good, but towards the end, I felt like they were relying too much on visual shock. I don't see the movie as being one to turn people off drugs at all, but rather a warning to what ignorance/naievity can do. There seemed to be a lot of unlying messages non-drug related as well, or I was just looking into things too much in my stonedness. I give it a thumbs up but it's nowhere near the top of my list.

Man DVD's are great i got a dvd player for xmas and it has to be one of the best pieces of machine i have in this house.

I rented Requiem yesturday and i thought i awsome, breath taking. Some scenes i got freaked like when they show harry's are all f*cked up. The soundtrack is amazing, if you pay attention you can hear its a string quartet and every time the hardcore scenes start to peak the quartet plays. I want to watch pi now but i cant find it.

I say that all the time! I even saw that guy who says that in 'Blackhawk Down' I think. When we were watching BHD he'd start saying something like "We'll infiltrate the sector and then go..." I 'd chime in and yell "Ass to ass!"

its an amazing movie, i was in virgin the other day and they had a lot of $10 dvd's and saw requiem, i had to but it.

Damn boy you already renting porn?! Hahaha i laughed and told him what was happening. And that was one freaking huge dildo, i mean did you see the size of that thing? It had to be a mile long! I read that in the director's cut of Requiem has a lot more graphic scenes...thats why im also looking for that

Does anybody know whats the 3rd rule? #1 is no more red meat, #2 is no more sugar. whats 3?

I figured I'd bump this thread since I just recently saw Requiem for the first time.

I consider it a work of genius. I am still quite captivated by it.

I'm sure the director has a future.

Oh, I'm not sure if they ever divulged what the third rule was and if they did I missed it.

My guess is:

1- No more red meat

2- No more sugar

3- No more drugs?

Looks like ass to ass made juice to juice.

I LOVED the photography when the black guy (sorry, can't remember his name) and the girlfriend are running with a 'steady-cam' strapped to their hips! Nice effect!

And the one guy that gets her to go "ass to ass"...when he comes to the door with the eye makeup on, it creeps me out!

Yeah...that thing was HUGE! OUCH!
