After watching the OLD Battlestar Galactica....the original Star Wars is pretty lame IMO...storyline and the whole bit is stolen from Greek playwrights...

BSG universe is not only more "deep", but there are multiple levels that the story is working on. I just can't get into Lucas's "make me rich because im a GOD" vision...

I like star wars, i'll probably watch these shows...but man, ST and BSG are totally better universes to live/imagine in.

I loved the original SW trilogy. I remember May 25th, 1977 very vividly. I was 10 years old, and my Dad took me. We also went to the next two together as well. Dolby Surround Sound was brand new, and the whole experience was just the best damn thing ever.

Going to the Star Trek movies was also a ritual as well. Always went opening day.

I like most all science fiction. Star Trek is my favorite, I admit that. However, I also like Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate, Farscape, etc. I will say I never liked Andromeda. Sorry Gene. Just couldn't get into it. Only watched it a couple times and that was because Michael Shanks and Christopher Judge were on those episodes.

I'm pretty well rounded. I try to give all sci-fi a chance.
