Just wondering if anyone saw the in pot we trust documentary on showtime?
It was pretty interesting, and I guess it was well made because at the end i was pretty pissed off at the government once again. It was about medical use in the USA, and it showed both sides to the argument. There were i think 4 patients that shared their stories, and explained why they feel marijuana should be legalized for medicinal use. It also showed a police force explaining why they think theres no such thing as medical marijuana, and showed the team going and chopping down 17,000 weed plants in california. Ofcourse, the cops/congressmen/dea people didnt have all that much to support themselves, and kept going over the same crap again and again.

I thought it was great, and its nice to see that finally some of the general public got a look at the truth behind medical marijuana.

I think it would be a really good idea for someone to make a well publicized movie explaining the truth of cannabis. For example the movie about mcdonalds ( super size me) and also the two from micheal moore (fahrenheit 9-11 and bowling for columbine). These movies have changed the veiws of so many people i think it would be a good step into the legalization of marijuana. ive also seen some documentaries like this but as soon as someone sees the word "marijuana" or "pot" they automatically think bad and crimanal things and not watch it.

I just saw In Pot We Trust tonight.

I highly recommend it! What an incredible well put together film. Definitely a must see!

A lot more people need to see stuff like this.

Can we make them NOT like Fahrenheit 9/11 and Bowling for Columbine? Because were terribly inaccurate and took things out of context.

And wasn't there also Grass or something? Although I think that was more a history and a debunker of many marijuana myths.

The History of Marjuana with Woody Harrelson narrating? I have that one. I really like it too.

'I really wasn't fond of it, I liked what it tried to do, but I thought the cinimatography was poor, and the movie was rather.... it almost seemed cobbled together.

Yeah.. maybe a similar style, but not made by Michael Moore. Perhaps made by someone who wants to make an accurate portrayl without pushing their own agenda.
