Yes, you can sit around all day doing nothing but smoking weed, playing video games, eating cheese doodles, etc. but a lot of stoners (myself included), actually get up and do something while stoned. It makes things more interesting, I think. Ever go to a theme park while baked? It's AMAZING!

So my question is... Why are these commercials still being made and broad casted? Even if some or most people are lethargic while being stoned, who is that really hurting? Only one person- the one who chooses to be lazy. At least the anti-cigarette-smoking commercials (like TRUTH) base their commercials on actual facts. At least anti-drinking commercials base their commercials on FACTS. See a pattern? The anti-smoking weed commercials breaks that pattern when they base their commercials on STEREOTYPES and LIES.

Here are a couple of ridiculous ones I found:

YouTube - funny anti cannabis campaign
"High for a night, slow for a month" - Right, because that's REALLY what smoking does to you... it makes you slow down for a whole month. Maybe the shit he got was laced with something else.... hahaha.

YouTube - Anti Weed Commercial
"I wish you didn't smoke weed." - Take some advice from your dog, why don't you. Funny story, I actually saw this commercial for the first time when I was high and it was HILARIOUS. Are these commercials made for stoners?

YouTube - Not Again
"Not again." - Better stop smoking weed, or your girlfriend will leave you for an alien.

YouTube - Pete's Couch
"Pete's couch" - I like the beginning of this commercial, but the rest made me mad. Right, so every stoner sits on their couch until they're 86 years old... Sounds legit! The other day after smoking a bowl I cleaned my basement and MOVED a couch, though. That's a fact.

YouTube - Conversation
"Conversation" - They don't even let you know what the other guy is saying in this one. Stupid. Smoking weed will make you loose friends...? Well, to some extent this may be true, but just the fact that there isn't enough information in this commercial I think it's stupid.

Post some opinions/other videos if you'd like. There's a lot of gold on Youtube these days.

petes couch is awesome

1) Put some weed in a sock and tie it off.
2) "Hide" it while your dog watches you.
3) Tell your dog "Find the weed!"
4) Lead him to it and, when he touches it give him a treat and a lot of praise. "Good boy! You found the weed!"
5) Repeat until the dog goes to the sock without you leading him to it.
6) Hide the sock without the dog watching.
7) Tell him to "Find the weed!" He should seek it out by scent.

After a few days of work (no more than 15 minutes at a time), your dog should be able to find it every time. The rest of the process is making it more difficult to find by putting the weed in containers that don't allow air to flow through.

This is a great game to play with your dog. We do it every day. I put my dog into a down/stay on his bed and then hide a 35mm film canister with weed in it anywhere in the house. I go back to the dog and tell him to "Find the weed!" I follow him around until he touches it with his nose (I've trained him to knock it over). Then he gets praise and a biscuit.

I find tokers in the local parks all of the time this way. (I should get him a police badge on a chain and scare the shit out of people.) Once, in a state park, he led me to a nice little grow.

Pete's couch has to be the best anti-weed commericial.

First of all, in that ad, the say "it's the safest thing in the world" which is mind-blowing. They actually said that, after years and years of talking of brain damage and lung cancer. Second, it has a message that I feel that every teenage toker should hear: It's just pot. It's not the type of thing to give your life to.
