Looked pretty lame from teh previews. I'm also not much of one for musicals but I enjoyed hairspray a lot for some unknown reason

just saw it again for my second time!! just as good as the first time if not better... got the soundtrack too... evan racheal wood has an amazing voice. and those of you who think this movie sucks, you have no taste. plz dont listen to those people if you where thinking about seeing this, its definitely worth it, and its worth seeing it on the big screen also... i thought it was really trippy, saw it incredibly stoned both times. i had to contain myself from singing along with the movie lol... i <3 the beatles

Okay I respect the people who liked the movie. But seriously, no one found it corny?

aww...i liked the movie.
except i felt a lot of the scenes didnt have to be there and didnt really add to the story line at all. but i loved most of the songs and the acting/singing was pretty good.

OH but i honestly didnt GET that the one girl was a lesbian till the end of the movie when she was with that contortionist or whatever. i was like OHH shes a lesbian. yea just thought i'd throw that out there....

I used to love corn, but it's so hard to digest.

But seriously, tastes differ, and some people love corny. Why does 'corny' have to equal 'bad'? Movies are so subjective. Even Oscar winners get some bad reviews.

Well, I havent seen the movie, but I used to think that all Beatles music was pretty corny...

Until I actually listened to it
