Well i just saw this movie today. Ken Park. Banned in Australia for (after viewing) obvious reasons. Anyway, to watch it, it had to be downloaded.
The movie is one of the most sick and disturbing things i have ever seen.
The amount of sex, violence and masturbation that is portrayed in the film is somewhat disgusting as it is shown in graphic detail, (and by that i mean that nothing is with-held, the most vivid being the autoerotic asphyxiation displayed by a male teenager).

If anybody else has watched this movie. Place your opinion in this sick and twisted film.
If you haven't seen it, i wouldn't recommend it. Its two hours of my life i can never get back.

I must admit though, it did have some more memorable scenes which make you grateful for what you have.

I thought this was a great movie, because as you admitted, it caused a reaction in you; images that you will remember for a long time. I agree with you that it is practically pornographic, but it really is an excellent film that I would recommend to anyone, except my mother. If you enjoy real-life, gritty movie experiences that don't try to fluff things up, then this is for you. There are no positive feelings that one can associate with this movie. It is a tragic tale. If you enjoy the despair of movies like "leaving las vegas", then you will enjoy this.

i thought it was great. the sex didn't disgust me, nor did the violence. it's just a brutally sad film that happens to have graphic sex scenes. i don't think it could be called anything near pornography because the definition of porn is that it was created to arouse, and i really don't think any of the sexual scenes were inserted by larry clark to give you a boner.

i don't think there are any obvious reasons to ban this or any other film except a prudish mindset.

also, downloading is not the only way to see this film. it is available on dvd.

I just watched a few scenes and a trailer on youtube and myspace. Seems like a very poignant movie in addition to all the graphic scenes. The scene where the young boys are doing bong hits and the kid tells his whole story about his Dad, and then tells them they should appreciate their Dad's even if they are assholes, is just very real.
