I am excited, and I cannot wait. Batman Begins was one of, if not the best batman movie to date in my eyes, so much more realistic than the old batman movies with the comedic characters and batman porn rubber suit .

Heath Ledger as Joker I had my doubt...but after seeing the trailer, I have absolutely no more doubts. I believe this takes place before the original Batman movie, but Heath looks as if he plays such a better joker than Nicholson's character.

This movie is aaaallllllll about the Joker. I hope there are a lot of scenes with him, it will be very entertaining. And for that, I tribute my avatar to that fella. At least for now.

Yeah I have high hopes for this movie.

Something about Batman and Joker, I dunno what it is but its perfect. Batman is my favorite superhero because he doesn't have any special powers, besides his intellect and skill (plus luck).

I might even go see it in theatres!

It has to be good. Chris Nolan is one of my favorite directors, and I like his take on Batman. It feels so much more like a theatrical character movie compared to how Burton treated it as an art piece, or Schumacher making it into the garish campy-ness that crashed the franchise. Keaton was a good Batman, but I love what Bale did with the character.

Nolan has been reimagining the concept, so I don't think this has any continuity with previous Batman movies outside his own. From what I hear, Ledger's character is more around the psychotic and less the comical character of Nicholson's Joker.

I've always loved Batman, but my favorite Batman has to be Michael Keaton. That is my all time favorite Batman movie. Jack Nicholson was an awesome Joker, but I don't think anyone can top him. Batman Begins comes in 2nd. I really liked that back story, and can't wait to see this one.

Jack Nicholson is always great in his role, I just didn't like the Joker figure period in that movie. The make-up was horrible IMO, and that really wide mouth he had bothered the hell out of me.

Ledger just seems more...psychotic...more off the wall. The hair the fucked up makeup and sores on his face, the voice the clothes, everything about Ledger in this movie seems completely on point. Just too much straight colors and shit in the old batman movies..not enough dirt and realism that you would think of when you think of an underground killer or psycho. Batman finally seems like it really is taking place in the downtowns of Gotham.

I too didn't like the Joker in the older Batman, he seemed too much like a nice loon rather than the psychotic chaotic Joker I like.... I just realized Batman is he most popular - in terms of most movies produced - superhero movie franchise.

I've always been a fan of Heath Ledger (Knight's Tale is a guilty pleasure ). I have Batman Begins on DVD and its probably the only movie that I have watched all the special features on, twice. It's really cool watching them build the new Batmobile, if I remember correctly they completely made it out of scratch and redesigned it several times - the flames that shoot out are real too!

This Batcycle looks pretty dope. I wouldn't mind giving that thing a spin. I like your avatar too Dark, haha man he looks creepy!!

Thanks . Had to change it to this advertisement I found though with the black eyes and lipstick on the U.S. army guy. Still kickass IMO lol.
I hate the fucking Tumbler or whatever it's called as the Batmobile. I understand the old one was a little over the top and it was the very start of 'Batman', but it looks as if the Tumbler is used as well in the Dark Knight, and I was hoping for a better customization at this point. I remember going to an auto show here in Detroit, and they had one of the Batmobiles on display from one of the movies, it was fucking dope.

Hopefully they change it to more a Batmobile look somewhere in this movie or at least the next one(if there is a next one)

Dude, I loved the Tumbler. That scene in Batman Begins where he drives on top of the building and like leaps onto the highway is so fucking badass....

The tumbler IS badass..I just want more customization as far as looks. More batmobile like. I don't care about having rockets or all them extra gadgets he had, just the looks. The most badass thing about Batman in the past was almost for sure the car IMO. The wings and everything are truly needed to me though.
