Anyone remember Tootsee Roll?
YouTube - 69 Boyz - Tootsee Roll
ugh. How annoying. And that was 1994! If you ask me, I think that is actually worse than soulja boy.

What about 2 live crew Me so horny?
YouTube - me so horny

I wonder why people think soulja boy is so much worse. THESE songs are old school hiphop relateable to soulja boy. For Ice-T to battle Soulja Boy would be like Wu-Tang battling 2 live crew. It's obvious who would obliterate the competition, but it's two completely different groups.
I actually never really thought of it in that perspective. There were some real WHACK shit to pop off in the 90's, I wonder if they thought hiphop was going down the tubes then? But, you gotta consider, the 90's were fucking wacky as hell anyway hahah.

three 6 mafia was never known for their hooks though. i can like a song that has a bad hook if the rest of it is good. id rather listen to a song with good verses than a song that just has a good hook

i do agree though that we need to do away with the hooks. they have been taking away from songs a lot lately.

haha ice-t.. what a joke.. always claiming the 'west coast' thug life shit when he is born in new jersey... always on the 'fuck tha police' bandwagon and now he plays a cop on tv... its a slap in the face to every accomplishment ice-t can account for...

who is he to insult soulja boy for a hideously popular song that millions of people enjoy, and pretty much single-handedly awarded soulja boy with a high-sales album and pretty much instant fame? is it really any dumber than any other rap song on the radio? at least soulja boy doesnt live life as a fraud who raps a lifestyle he doesnt live... (im pretty sure hes superman'd at least one ho)

he voiced that soulja boy sucks. that is something millions of people need to be aware of. crank that is really dumber than pretty much any other rap song on the radio, and believe me, there are some dumb ones. bone thugs songs are played on the radio too, and thats definitely better than soulja boy.
