| Well, I've got one that you should NEVER get stoned to: "Bongo Man" by Jimmy Cliff. It will scare the living shit out of you! |

| You need to hear Living on a Prayer - Bon Jovi when you're high. Radio Nowhere - Bruce Springsteen is addictive when high. Also some albums: Voyage 34 the complete Trip - Porcupine Tree My Music - Bob Marley The Jimi Hendrix Experience |

| Lately I've been really into plain ol' Rock 'n Roll from about 1967-1973. For some reason that's all I've wanted to listen to during the past few days! A few songs/bands on my playlist: "Love Ain't For Keeping" by The Who "Keep On Growing" by Derek & The Dominoes "Dear Mr. Fantasy" by Traffic "Volunteers" by Jefferson Airplane "Suzie Q" by Creedence Clearwater Revival "What Is and What Should Never Be" by Led Zeppelin "Amerikon" by Paul Kantner and the Jefferson Starship (GREAT song, from an amazing and nearly unknown album!) The Jimi Hendrix Experience J.J. Cale Grateful Dead The Allman Brothers Band The Guess Who And, I know they're not from the same time period, but The Black Crowes really fit in well with this music. I've been digging them, too, lately.

| Early Thomas Dolby sounds incredible while high. Check out the "Golden Age Of Wireless" album, or oddities like "One Of Our Submarines Is Missing". Jefferson Airplane's "Crown Of Creation" is a trip. They'll throw a complete buzz killer lyric right into the middle of a song, and then follow it up with a mind bending guitar solo that blows your stone right back into your face! Great stuff if you like your music to take you places.Rick James' "Street Songs" is another surprise. You realize that almost 3/4 of the album is about Pot. Great sounds and it will make you dance around the livingroom like an idiot. George Harrison's "Electric Sounds" is kind of interesting, too. You'll laugh at all the crappy parts on it and then groove on the bits where he does something that sounds cool. Last edited by dirtbomb : 09-16-2008 at 09:16 PM. Reason: forgot a couple of albums, man. |
