Exclamation Emarosa -- Relativity
Hm, I had never listened to these guys but randomly downloaded their new CD yesterday and I am really pleased. I may even purchase, this album is top-notch, 10/10 in my eyes. It's a little different that what I usually listen to, being post-hardcore, but I don't mind one bit. The singer is great and the music production and talent is great. It's edgy but soothing. And to top it off, the producer of the album has worked with one of my favorite bands (who are post-hardcore themselves), Fear Before the March of Flames.






Any fans? What do you guys think? I've listened to some of their older music on YouTube, and TBH none of it really tickled my fancy. I guess it's the new singer I am really digging....

Dude, I don't even remember.

I was just browsing bands on Myspace and I usually just randomly surf their top friends, ya know?

But yah, it is some good stuff. The opening track is my favorite.

Alright, so earlier I only listened to the first video, and they sounded so emo it wasn't even funny. The whole song. I don't like....

but now I listened to the others, and I'll say I misjudged them. I like a couple. That third video is the fucking shit. Reminds me a bit of Tool and APC.

I might just have to listen a bit more, to get that emo taste outta my mouth

I dunno, the only connection with emo music I see is the singer. It seems like if a singer is emotional or 'high-pitched' they get summed up as emo music. This may not be the case but to be honest, I love singers like this. Sends chills up my spine.

This CD has now acquired a total of 40 full play-throughs since I got it.

I'm getting the rest of their discography as well. I guess I just didn't listen to it closely enough. It's good stuff as well...





It's a lot more chaotic....
