A sad day for Pink Floyd fans..

Got the news this afternoon from CNN that Rick Wright, keyboardist/founding member of Pink Floyd, had passed away following a bout with cancer. He was 65.

All my favorite rock bands are now in their 60's. It is a sad, but inevitable consequence.

I absolutely loved to listen to Pink Floyd in the late 70's - early 80's. (I still do, but back then, ..... Memories).

I haven't thought of some of the people we used to hang out with in years. I wonder where they are now?

It will be an even sadder experience to listen to "Great Gig In The Sky", now.

Good for you, man! I wouldn't have the guts to do it. My long locks of gorgeous hair are just part of who I am.

Anyway, yeah, being a big Floyd fan I was kind of shocked when I heard the news too. I had the radio on while I was getting an oil change and right after they announced it they played Great Gig and Crazy Diamond. And then on the way home from work tonight I caught the very end of Dogs.

I think I'll have to edit my signature...(unfortunately).

That is sad news. I saw them in 94 and of course they put on a great show. Wright was unreal on a momentary lapse of reason.
