Who here enjoys playing an instrument after smoking and if so, what do you play.

I'm a drummer therefore after I smoke I enjoy sitting behind my kit and going at it. It has to be one of the most enjoyable feelings to progress and let everything flow.

yes,i play bass which i love doing blazed.in fact,i'm way better when blazed.
i come up with all of these crazy,proggy basslines.but i never remember them afterwords though lol.i want to get a pedal board so i can put all crazy effects on.if there is anything i like more than playing bass high,its playing bass high,with effects on.i also play guitar too.

haha nice. If I didn't play drums I know I would deffenitely give bass a try. I just free style. Of course everything flows much more smoothly. Both my boyfriend and I are drummers and we both find it easier to find new beats and to fiddle around with the bass pedal switching things up. At least I'm progressing!

Dude, same thing happens with me nd guitar.

I've learnd to start recording BEFORE smoking nd then playing. Only prob. is I sometimes forget to start playing so I end up with recordings of me in my room doing nothing, haha...

I have a guitar, trombone, MIDI keyboard, ukulele, bongos, mpc1000, and a turntable. I like to lay down a basic structure while sober, then make everything more interesting when I get stoned. Though gotta be careful not to over do it with processing and effects while high or it will sound like crap the next day lol, especially if using headphones while mixing.

I've been playing guitar for 10 years now (wow)..although I did have one year where I stopped. When I started smoking marijuana my interest in playing guitar came about again.. which was great because I had three guitars sitting around collecting dust.
I almost always smoke before/while I play. When ever I am jamming with friends weed is usually involved. I feel more connected to the music and I swear I play 2 times better when I am stoned

<<< also a percussionist, although I haven't touched a pair of sticks in many years. I can certainly appreciate the feel of a good buzz and a self-made rhythm intertwined. I've been told by other musicians that I actually played better when I was high, which is probably true...I've always toked up before laying down tracks in the studio.

I jsut started drumming and havent tried while smoking.

I have tried playing guitar while high and it was AWESOME!

AM I excited now to try while drumming, Because man! Drumming is so cool by itself, with weed!, It'll be insaine!
