| I'd be happier if a person convicted of a federal cocaine crime didn't attempt to be a spokesman for the legalization of marijuana. We don't want to project an image of hardcore druggies. We want to look like normal folks who prefer a safer intoxicant than alcohol, not cokeheads who also smoke pot. Remember, the people we have to convince that marijuana is OK are people who don't use recreational drugs other than the legal ones. They might accept pot but it's not likely they'll accept cocaine. Legislators who might vote to legalize pot don't want to be associated with the approval of harder drugs.

| Well buzz, every plant has its purpose. Theres a reason coca only grows in the mountains, and a reason marijuana grows practically everywhere. |

| Yeah I agree. On the Puff Puff Pass DVD there is this Neuropschatry professor from UCLA, Christopher J Evens Ph.D. and he says THC is the safest drug because unlike opiums which can cause respiratory problems and cause death thc won't do anything harmful to you physically.... in his own words "ithc is very very.....very safe"! I gained alot of respect for snoop after seeing that he had the integrity to go out and get the highest health authority in american society, a doctor who teaches our kids, to tell the TRUTH about weed. If every celebrity who smokes used thier resources to further our cause then we would be alot further...I saw what celebrity power did for John Kerrys campaign!!!! Way to go snoop, the puff puff pass dvd hits a homerun for us! |

| Quote:
To the body politic and to legislators, cocaine is a scare word. Associating it with Marijuana is a good way to keep Marijuana legalization from happening any time in the foreseeable future. "Marijuana is a mostly benign herb. Also, cocaine is a mostly harmless drug, except that once in a while it gives people fatal heart attacks, makes them go crazy, and causes them to sell everything they own to get it." See? In this case, the truth doesn't work very well as advertising copy. ![]() | |

| Theres alot of healthy things about marijuana. Its healthy for our environment in many different ways. It can help to reduce carbon in the atmosphere, and its good for the soil. Though im not sure if there have been any scientific studies to show just how much carbon a field of marijuana can process. There is a huge field of marijuana research yet to be studied, but the gates to the field are guarded... If you know what I mean. |

| Snoop's campaign has the potential to make a big difference. Although he wouldn't be my first choice as a representative of us and our culture, his movie could prove to be quite effective in raising awareness of our goals. Sad, however, that it takes a sketchy rapper for our voice to be heard...or in other words, DO YOUR PART TO SAVE CANNABIS! You too can make a difference. |

| Buzz and Duke both of those statements are very lame. If you didn't know, Snoop was chosen Stoner of the Year by High Times a few years ago and is featured by many pro-Marijuana magazines and publications. Nobody said he was THE "spokesperson for legalization". There are hundreds of people who vouch for legalization that aren't the "cream of the crop" for a spokesperson, but at least they're trying! Saying that Snoop isn't a credible leader of the Marijuana masses is pure blasphemy in my opinion. He definitely doesn't even use cocaine anymore, and never used it regularly (if at all).

| I've got to agree with Jae on this one. Im not much into the music culture, I don't have a CD player anymore, nor a computer with sound. Though from what I've seen, Snoop is a confident motha ****a. His smooth attitude makes him a good symbol for the MTV culture. Sure its not going to win over the republicans, but hey, there not going to do what we say anyways. Since the mass media hardly puts a good prespective on marijuana, music is the propigation that can make some waves. |
