I'm sorry but Nelly doesn't deserve a damn cookie. He is a stupid rapper (but that is my opinion) and Eminem thinks he is tough hard a$$ because he can beat his wife.

Nelly dosn't deseve a cookie?? How can you say that about a rapper who went multi-platinum after a week or record sales, and not to mention off 1 record, nelly will have 5 songs that hit #1 on the billboard charts?? Personaly i havn't seen a band (including n'sync) that has made so many music videos off one album, Nelly is making his fifth video in st. louis sometime soon.

Your right, your are entitled to your opinions, and i respect that. But at lease you could aknowledge him, cause he came out of nowhere, unlike EVERY other rapper these days, nelly did the album all on his own with his "band" of sorts, the St. Lunatics. I mean, you go out and buy a Dr. Dre Album, you get 3 songs that dr.dre performs in, and the rest are other rappers. Nelly has talent!

Oh btw, he is already working on another album, who knows maybe that one will get multi-platinum as well.

i'm not really gonna say anything about nelly cause i haven't really listened to him. i do have this to say though, commercial success does not equal talent. there are literaly thousands of mc's in the hip hop underground that would eat him alive in a battle....

as far as dr dre goes....
anyone who knows anything about hip hop knows that dr dre is known more for his beat making skills than his rhyming ability. although i'm really dissappointed in his latest efforts (the beat for The Next Episode is taken beat for beat from a track called M.I.A. by missin linx). hell, he dosen't even write his own raps, snoop wrote the majority of the chronic and eminem and jay z wrote chronic 2001. anyway, that's why he has more guset mc's than most, he's the man behind the beats and alway has been since his days as dj dr dre with world class wreckin cru.

However i still think nelly deserves more recognition than people are giving him. He has good music, and i can't wait to listen to his new album (probaly in the next year).
