This can be a general thread of Pink Floyd.

But i just noticed something, i just got done listening to the song "mother" for the first time since i saw the Movie "Pink Floyd: The Wall", and it made me so sad. If you have seen the movie you know what i am talking about. The song mother is the song played towards the begging when the Nazis are bombing the camp that Pink's dad is at. And seeing his dad dying like that, then hearing the next song kicking in, it flashes you back to pink in the church.. It is just soo different listening to this after i saw the movie, it almost gives the CD a new sound.

Question never saw the movie

I've never seen the Pink Floyd movie yet? Is it good?

I'm kind of "afraid" of seeing it because I think it will change how I hear Pink Floyd and put a whole new perspective on the Cd.

The movie is good, extremely good, almost overwhelming at times! I swear man, during some scenes it is just too much, like the scene with the bird and the plane, dropping bombs.. AHHHHHHHHHHHH

And yes, seeing the movie puts a story behind the cd, i say see the movie, if you are a huge floyd fan, or if you just want to see a movie that will blow your mind with stunning animations!

You HAVE to see the movie. All Pink Floyd fans really should watch it. You're right though, it does it kind of change how you look at the cd, but that's alright.

Thumbs up

Iam a fellow Floydian myself and i have to say that The Wall is one of the best movies i ever seen. The only thing i dont like about The Wall album is that its depressing. This is one of the reasons why Roger Waters broke up after The Final Cut(awesome album btw) was due to him wanting all the fame and him being all angry and depressed (In Felchters Memorial Home he talks about killing Reagan and other "incurable tyrants and kings").
