Nirvana is one of the most spun out bands of all time, with a herion taking lead guitarist,lead singer and song writer like Cobain, they couldnt go wrong. They are one of the best bands to just get wasted and sit down to.

In fact miller 99% of the people will tell you the fact that he took Heroin (The way he died), made him a looser. I admit i listened to his music, but not because he shot up heroin!

But yea, Nirvana does have some good music, i expecially like the unplugged from New York album, nice tunes.

WOW tool now nirvana man you are really nailing my Favorite bands. i used to idolize nirvana when i was a bit younger i dont know but still have a lot of respect for them.. and i knowing everything about them

Nirvana is the first band that ever meant anything to me. In Utero was the second or third CD I ever bought (I was 12, in 7th grade) and is still in my top 5 favorite albums of all time. I remember I used to turn the volume down on "Rape Me" because I was afraid my mom would take it away from me if she heard me listening to any "offensive" music.

That music changed my life. I started playing guitar because of Nirvana (Aneurysm was the first song I ever learned). Whenever I wanted to forget everything, I'd crank that sh*t on my mom's stereo and the world would melt away.

Used to be a major Nirvana fan back when i was in 7th-9th grade. My favorite album at the time was Insecticide and In Utero. Now the only time i listen to Nirvana ( I sold all my Nirvana tapes,yeah thats how old they are) is on the radio for nostalgic purposes.

I have it just like you guys, Nirvana does remind me of those good ole days. I remember doing the exact same thing as you badger, turning down the music. I lived Nirvana from like 6th grade to 8th grade, then i moved away to claissic rock, raggae, and stuff like that.

I am going to get a few songs off napster, it will bring back some good memories.

Hey, anyone who's interested in the theory that Courtney killed Kurt check out the movie Kurt and Courtney. I can't remember who directed it but it's a documentary. The guy who did it talked to all kinds of people-- Kurt's Aunt, Tracy Marander (his former girlfriend), Courtney's dad, and some guy who was Kurt's "best friend."

It turns out that the main proponent to theory is Courtney's dad. Also, it has this guy, El Duce, from this band called the Mentors who says Courtney offered him 50 grand to shoot Kurt in the face with a shotgun. He passed a lie detector test. Pretty suspicious, I'd say.

Uhh the guy right above me has a point. I know everything about nirvana, and it was fans and media and all that **** that killed him. If you read one of the books done about nirvana you get a complely new out look. He had a really hard life. I also have talked to his aunt who like getting mail about kurt and does reply to it all, i have some rare pictures she copied for me and some stories.
