311 anyone?

Most people hate 311, knowing nothing at all about them. Well they kick ass, and if you dont believe me,
get "311 - Who's Got The Herb" on Napster. Any other fans out there?

I'm a big fan of 311, I've seen them twice. People do seem to give 311 a bad rap, and something that really bothers me is that people think the name means 'KKK'(3 of 11, 11 is the eleventh letter of the alphabet). This is total BS, as the name is the police code for public indecency in Omaha, Nebraska. Heh. They coined the name after their bass player, known to us fans as p-nut, was arrested for streaking nude on the streets of Omaha, heh. Some reccomened songs are Hydroponic, Nix Hex, Beautiful Disaster, Who's Got The Herb, and Feels So Good. They put on an amazing show, being they are more of a live band. I saw them at Roseland Ballroom in NYC, and when they played Who's Got The Herb, the whole place just lit up, and the somewhat small venue was clambaked in a matter of minutes. Classic.

Hey, i know plenty of people who love 311 as do I. I don't know how many of you don't like 311 but you really should listen to them sometime cuz theyre kool as hell.

"Flowing" is another good song - it's about being ripped. The whole song is about it, but I only put a few lines in for my sig. "Do You Right" is also about weed.

I really like the style they have...it's upbeat and fun to listen to while stoned.
