Yes, self-titled is good, but man, 40oz. to freedom is amazing. Just amazing. Same goes for robbin' the hood, another overlooked(by some) sublime album.

Cool Hafta agree/w Dubstylee420

I *love* thier self-titled album, but I "40 oz to Freedom" is *completely awesome*. It seems to have more reggae influence and the songs are on a more personal level, it's just packed with great music. Even though the album is 9 years old it's not really dated at all. The only bad thing about sublime is I just think how aweful it is that Bradley od'ed. Bradley you're sorely missed.........

Default Sublime

Any of y'all dig Sublime? I think thats one of the best bands that came up in the 90's. Check out the albums "40 oz. To Freedom" and "Second Hand Smoke". For those of you who have never heard Sublime, theyve got a really cool mellow(sometimes) ska/reggae sound that is really awesome. Its some of the best smoking music ever made, and all the rhythms are really smooth and tight. Too bad Brad died though, guy had some talent.

Question

When I was in college my roommate loved Sublime. I liked one or two songs from them but can't remember what they were or how they went. What was popular by them about 5 years ago?

The songs that were hits for them a few years ago were "What I Got" and "Wrong Way" and "Santeria". And for Sublime, even songs that were played out for a while still rock, you dont get tired of it.

Yeah I like old sublime, like the cd "robbin the hood". My favorite songs are pool shark and badfish. Smoke two joints is pretty cool. I'm not really into reggae, but I can tolerate sublime especially because they're from my city, the LBC so I kind of feel connected to the music every time I hear it.

Ska is one of the genres that i really like. And sublime was a great band. One of the best bands in the 90's. Didnt the other member is sublime found the band SLIGHTLY STOOPID? SS is an awsome band, if you havent heard them yet, you will soon! Check out their acoustic album, its was made for stoners
