Ok so what i have heard from these guys is amazing, where is my mind, evil hearted you but i dont know what else to get. Can any pixies fans suggest some great tunes by them. Ive heard that none of there songs sound similar which i think is really great in a band but could also be a downfall of the band, i know no songs ive heard have sounded like where is my mind which i thinks an amazing song and since the other one i have is sung in spanish im starting to think its true

Go ahead and buy Surfer Rosa and Doolittle. Those are their best albums. If you're just trying to pick up some MP3s (cheap-skate!) get the song "Debaser." It's personal favorite of mine. One song that's in Spanish or Italian or something is "River Euphrates" and a lot of stuff on Surfer Rosa.

It's 2 CD's long, has a ton of amazing songs on it, my personal fav: Caribou, it's awsome...

Yeah they are amazing, Surfer Rosa is really good, supposedly Nirvana's Nevermind is a total rip-off that album, well, that's what the band said, I don't see them as too similar...

Yeah, get doolittle at the very least. That is a seriously good album.

I've heard people talking about the Pixies/Nirvana thing before, but it's usually been Pixies fans trying to sound cooler-than-thou. After all, you could just as easily argue that they both ripped off the Sex Pistols, who were just ripping off someone else, who were just ripping off someone else...

Anyway, who cares, they're both great bands...
