I do like his music, especially "Lamb of God" on his new album. I have listened to his crap since his first album, and I guess I am a fan of his music, just not his political views. This guy is a nut right-winger and nothing he says makes sense. His beliefs are pretty ****ed too

I too don't like manson. I think he is a negative example. However i do like his music, but i ignore the words. What the need to do is make a cd w/ lyrics, and a cd w/0 lyrics, or just no lyrics at all

now for my opinion of manson: i hate his music, i don't like the way he presents himself, i think the guy is a total fool. i think a huge part of why he's so popular is because of his attitude to everything, and how he looks. would he have gotten so much attention if he hadn't worn that body-suit with breasts on it? i doubt it. that's just my view though...if you like him then whatever. it's what you like. i mainly listen to hip hop and some punk, so his genre doesn't appeal to me anyways.

Manson is an amazing businessman at his core...

I love the music and he puts on a killer ****ing show, but you have to understand, most of the image is just that, an image, something designed to put another million in his bank account...it changed album to album, remember mechanical animals, that was a TOTAL rip-off of David Bowie in Ziggy Stardust mode, but it was fun....

I personally don't get the idiots that think it's anything but a show, he prob goes home, has a beer or a joint and kicks back in an EZ chair, and laughs about all the right-wingers that want his ass crucified, it's just a game...

And did I mention the music is real good too Especially minute of decay..

manson is just using the same tactics others have over time....shock, as soon as the shock of what he looks like or what hes singing about is over, so is he.

same with so many "music stars" nowadays..

oh well music is a hard thing to discuss because everybody has different taste.

Business man yes, guy who really knows what depressed teens go for, indeed. All music aside this guy saw something, angry teens who needed a vent and he capitolized, with so many "mansonites" as they are affectionatly called springing up all over the place he got to superstardom. He knows the product and the crowd that listesn to him and he knows how the crowd that hates him will react, and he certainly plays both fields. Anyone read the article he has in high times? He was on the cover of the issue and he discusses his muci his life and his now being a pothead. But deep down id like to think the guys a normal guy like everyone else. After all we are not beatifull and unique snowflakes all the time just when we are acting as such, everyones inner core is the same moralisitc human being, no matter how abstract their thoughts or right wing their views they still are bound by the human clause. Meaning deep down they are human and act as such. I think that he is a shock rocker much like alice cooper and kiss were and he is just here to make a killing off of the very people that idolize him and make our world a bit darker. As a former mansonite myself i can say he has a profound impact on teens with troubled homelives and a bleek outlook on their life, as a matter of fact i didnt start wearing black untill i heard a manson and the spooky kids song and saw Manson on MTV. And after that i dedicated unfortunatly 2 years of my life to being a depressed disposable teen who wears all black and hates those more that hate him. Good thing after mechanical animals i was getting out of the whole darker than black phase. But anyway with all that aside i also enjoy his music, all the tracks of antichrist superstar are amazing and so isnt some of his older stuff when he wasnt so well known. If i had to rate him id give him a 4/5 hes a genius of the market and his music has been good, plus he went to a mix of mechanical animals and antichrist which i thought was a well thought out idea.

i was nearly the same, i listend to manson for a while because my friends were into it, then i realized i was just falling for the same **** everybody else was, it kind of saddens me that everybody looks at teens as nothing but "buisness" but i guess everybody has to make a living somehow, imo its a sleezy living though
