| I thought it was average 3 doritos on the doritosman scale. Nothing out of normal, pretty good rock in a time where pop music(?) rules the air waves. Lets hope there is a rock come back!! I downloaded a couple songs from them. I'll get some more, maybe be all i got was the crappy one

| ^ya youre obviously missing alot^ this album usually grows on you if youre not a huge fan. so give it time. i know no better drummer than Danny Carey (since Bonham died). Tool is mostly a lyrics and drums-based band - theres nothing special about the screaming, lead guitar or bass; not to say that theyre at all bad. its the kind of record that makes you think alot; i think "Aenima" is better but hopefully the new album comes out soon and rocks. |

| Hawkhigh I don't agree with you on this one. I feel like Maynard wouldn't be the way he is in TOOL if it wasn't for the awesome guitar work. To me the guitars are not just playing catchy power chords or riffs they'r like creating a 'feeling' that impacts the listener as much if not more than the vocals. |
