i wasnt stating a fact, just my opinion about their music. my main instrument of playing being lead guitar, i can greatly appreciate adam jones' work with Tool. he uses the perfect diversity of effects and starts playin at the exact right time in every song. i still think danney carey is the master of his instrument by far though. i guess you could say Tool has something for everyone, for me its the combination of all the instruments in unison; for lost stoker its guitar, for the last guy its vocals. my best friend is into them because of the awesome lyrics and vocals.

Adam Jones is bad ass. Firstly because the music he creates is so damn exotic at times and it's amazing to think how he just creates this off the top of his head, secondly because he directs their music videos.

Hawkhigh, it's the whole band in unison for sure. There's something about tool that's so damn awesome. It's like 'un hurried' rock or something. I hate their film clips tho, i dunno what drug you gotta take to make sense outta them. haha

Well the whole message behind tool in a nut shell is to get you to think for yourself. So I'm guessing they want you to make of the videos what you will.

. hopefully they have a tour date in western Canada too

. i dont think i have a favourite album, theyre all perfectly equal and equal perfectly, but Aenima holds more nostalgia for me. glad to see theres a good handful of Tool fans on this site
