For all you people who like dance music and stuff, I just want to know who your favourite DJs are. Who has the best tastes, sets? Who is best at mixing?

My faves are Max Graham and Mark Farina. Max Graham is a Canadian DJ who also produces his own music. Check out Transport 4 to hear him, he will be big, but then you probably could have guessed that when I told you he was in the same league as Oakenfold, Dave Ralph and Sandra Collins.

Mark Farina is a house and acid jazz DJ. If you like acid jazz, check out the Mushroom Jazz series. His mixing style is very unique, songs mesh perfectly, subtly mixing in samples. You gotta hear it.

I love DJ colette. She's a rather obscure DJ from my area.

I remember when she took over the rave and hit this long vocal that made everyone stop mid dance and turn and stare at her, mouths agape in awe. She evoked goosebumps and tears. I can't wait to see her again!

I like most trance and club mixers like Digweed and Global Underground.

for rocking a party mine would have to be DJ Z-Trip. the man is amazing. he mixes everything together and makes it sound great. who else could mix pink floyd and biggie smalls and have it work! check out Z-Trip and Radar Live at Future Primitive & Uneasy Listening by DJ Z-Trip and DJ P.

my favorite DJ/Producer would have to be DJ Vadim. at over 100 samples per track the man is the Jimi Hendrix of the sampler. any head who doesn't own USSR Repertoire is really missing out. truly the best musci to listen to while stoned.

as far as technical/turntablist DJ's go, hands down Kid Koala. no one compares. sure Q-Bert and the rest of the skratch piklz can scratch fast and do all kinds of tricks, but when it comes to making music with the turntable no one gets down like the kid. if you get a chance to catch him live do it, yuo win't be disappointed.
