| Music is such a wonderful thing, when you get stoned and you put in your favorite album it just takes you to another place. music creates the mood for your life. but what i really want to know is if anyone of you have a specail song or cd that you listen to everytime you get stoned or smoke the grass? my smoking cd that i listen almost everytime i light up is The Mars Hotel by the Greatful Dead. I put on China Doll then when Undroken Chain hits i just get sent off. anyone else have a album like this? | |

| I love these albums when I am smoking a lone in my room. I just put on Brain Damage or Comfortably Numb and spark it up. I love music. I need to get some GD songs. I'll get those 2 songs right now. ![]()

| I can't really listen to much recorded dead anymore, but when I do, it's usually Workingman's Dead. During the past school year, I used to wake up on Saturday or Sunday mornings, my head pounding a little bit from the night before, and put on that album and spark one up. Nothing will give you a better feeling during the entire day than hearing "Uncle John's Band" when you first wake up. BTW, RIPmorrison, get Workingman's Dead and American Beauty. Those are probably the Dead's best studio albums, though not a good reflection of what they were really about. If you're interested in hearing that, pick up Live/Dead (or download Dark Star, the Eleven, St. Stephen, Turn on Your Lovelight), that's a good reflection of what the dead were about in 1969. I also highly recommend the Scarlet Begonias>Fire on the Mountain from 5/8/77. Not only is the soundboard recording fantastic, it also might be the best Scarlet>Fire ever!
