| Heh, well hey their Keith. Man it has been forever since I have seen ya on the boards. lol. I am kinda suprised that Mother was not mentioned more often. Off the Wall, thats is my favorite song. I like hearing the different interpretations people have for that album. My top several: The Final Cut Mother Tigers Broke Free On The Turning Away Hey You ![]() Peace

| i noticed while watching the wall that there was a song not on the sound track. it's called WHEN THE TIGERS BROKE FREE. 1 does anyone know where i can find this song on a cd? 2 is there anyother songs in the movie not on the sound track? do you think the only reason they did not put that song on the sound track is because of space. i know the cd is a two cd set but my friend had the tape and they fit both cd's on the one tape? when i say they it was a studio album and not recorded by my friend Peace out THE PETRO |

| I'm not really down with old school rock, but I do like pink floyd. I don't think I can just pick a song and call it my favorite. I think pink floyd's cd's were each like a story. Dark side of the moon is a great album, but I can't think of one song that's better than another. And watching wizard of oz and listening to dark side of the moon is mad trippy. It gets a little too freaky for me when I am really stoned, but I still suggest checking it out. BH4C | |

| OMG, I can't believe I missed this thread! I love a lot of Pink Floyd songs, but the one that is my most favorite and that I always smoke to is....: Brain Damage, ironically it is on the radio right now..... You lock the door and throw away the key, there is someone in my head but it's not me. And if the cloud bursts thunder in your ear, you shout and no one seems to head, and if the band you in starts playing different tunes, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon..... Yup, I love this song.....brings back great memories..... ![]()

| Right on Petro, Wish You Were Here is my favorite album ever. Oh yeah, and you're in luck. That "When The Tigers Broke Free" song is included on the new Pink Floyd greatest hits album, Echoes.

| I can't remember why When the Tigers... isn't on the album, it think it was written at the same time as the album, but it might've been without the movie, that song kinda slows down the pace and if you don't know what's going on it doesn't really fit with the beginning of the album. Also there's another song on the movie not on the album, What Shall We Do Now? comes right before Empty Spaces I think. The lyrics to it though are in the liner notes of my copy of The Wall. And Hey You (one of the best songs on the album) is not in the movie. Go figure.
