I get that feeling almost all the time, but I got so many CD's, I can almost always have one playing and never get bored. I have close to 80 that I've bought, and about 13 or 14 live shows (about 3 CD's per show) that I've acquired.

Personally, when I'm stoned, I head right for my Super 80s CD. "We Built This City" by Starship, "I Got My Mind Set on You" by George Harrison, "Land of Confusion" by Genesis, etc... What a great collection.

But seriously, Jerry's licks melt all your troubles away.

I have 238 CDs: 18 that I bought, 142 that are live shows (46 of em), and 78 that I've borrowed from friends and burned. I am the anathema of the music industry

Damn right about Jerry. I was listening to 4/22/69 the other day, Dark Star>St. Stephen>The Eleven>Lovelight. Jerry's solo in the Eleven is so incredibly happy. If it doesn't put a smile on your face, then I don't understand.

I definitely get that feeling. i usually listen to something techno-ish or electronic. The Cynic Project, Aphex Twin, and Orbital are some of my favorites. I'm still exploring this genre though, so feel free to steer me toward other artists also.

In fact, I'm open to explore almost any genre. which reminds me.. anyone know of any good non-mainstream rap artists I can download?

or any non mainstream music for that matter. i'm open to just about anything.

I hear ya. When I'm high I'll pop in the good ol' Dark Side of the Moon or The Wall part 1, just sit there, and chill. Music is kinda like quenching my ears need for weed (that sounded pretty stupid) .

I'm listening to The Cynic Project "Sidewinder" and watching a lightshow in my backyard.. lightning. After smoking a couple bowls, this is a pretty good experience.
