| Hey, Good to have another dave fan on the site. Ack, I wish I could have gone to the concert at the gorge in washington (I did last year, wow, it was unbeliveable). Alas, Im 6000 miles away in japan. When I get home Ill go to a concert as soon as I can. Dave alboms arent in japan, and only a few japanese that Ive introduced to the music have liked it. Alot of the music they like here is crappy pop that all sounds the same. Dave Rules Urban Ninja | |

| he's a talented guy with a very talented band, but most of his fans just turn me off completely. Usually a groups fans wouldn't keep me from enjoying the music, but all the frat guys and little girls who go for the party rather than to enjoy the music, I can't stand people like that. I'm sure the hardcore fans are cool, but there's too many of the other type. I mean, people go to the concert and either get so drunk they can't remember it, or talk all the way through it. You can talk as long as you want after the show's over, when the band's onstage, shutup and enjoy it. But that's just my $0.02, hope everyone who goes enjoys themselves.

| The show in Buffalo on Wednesday was amazing! People are saying it was the best show thus far, but I can't say because it's the only show I've ever been to. My seats kinda sucked though, because my friends and I were right near the security guard. We had a joint that we wanted to smoke, but it was still light out at the beginning of the concert, and we didn't want the security guard to kick us out. So we waited until it was getting dark, and the security guard had gone away for a bit. My friend lights up the joint, and within one minute after lighting it up, this huge security guard taps my buddy on the shoulder, and takes the joint away from him. It sucked so much! How can they not let people smoke at a Dave Matthews concert! That's like not letting someone pray in church. I'm going to the show in Toronto in August too, where are your seats? | |

| Why didn't you just go to the lawn? Secruity's a lot less tight there. And it's got nothing to do with the performer, if it started getting around that the venue was letting people smoke, they could get in a hefty amount of trouble. At least they didn't kick you out, that's what most places do. As much as I enjoy smoking to some groovey tunes, the music comes first and not being able to smoke shouldn't have a negative impact on the experience. Good music makes you feel high without smoking. Really good music makes you feel like you're something else without doing something else I'm usually dancing too hard to notice my high anyway. glad to hear you enjoyed yourself. peace |

| The show was in Ralph Wilson Stadium, so there were no lawn seats. I agree, you don't need to be high to enjoy the concert. I had an amazing time, and probably would have forgotten most of the concert by now if I would have been high for the show. | |
