| Alice's restaurant, city of new orleans, coming into los angeles, awesome tunes. A discussion pan and I were having in another thread inspired me to start this one. If you like folks songs a la Woody Guthrie (well who do'ya think he learned everything from, certianly not his dad!), early Dylan, Ritchie Havens, you'll love Arlo. btw, check out the woodstock movie, they happened to choose arlo's segment to show a lot of people smoking. Coincidence? I think not, especially considering he was stoned out of his gourd when he was on stage ![]()

| I was at that hookahville and it was great! I think it was about noon on Saturday when myself and several of my friends decided to go play frisbee by the stage. Music wasn't going to start for a few more hours, but there was Arlo doing his soundcheck, running through bluegrass tunes and what not. That is a happy memory. |
