Exclamation what do you listen to when high?

i was just wondering what you listen to that sounds really cool when your faded. i used to get faded late at night and wear headfones in my dark room and listen to eminem it was phat i could see him there and there was a stage on my bed where he was performing and if you listen to some songs like amityville you will see a dark cartoon in like bright green and purple with a house on a hill during a thunderstorm stretching out and stuff. (really baked). Try listening to RADIOHEAD when faded its so cool. radioheads music has lot a lota different sounds going on at the same time and they make a melodic colla'ge(how ever you spell that) and when your high you hear all of the sounds separetly from differnt places.

I used to listen to Ween a lot. But lately, if I'm burning alone I'll dim the lights, close my eyes and listen to the Fantomas album 'The Director's Cutr'. It's extremely weird and very visual (it's Mike Patton with some guys from Slayer, the Melvins and Mr. Bungle). I really like that one.

It depends on what kind of stone I'm under.

laetly i've been listening to rap just because of the people i smoke with. but usually, it's floyd or sublime or just music that i can chill to while stoned.

Default Almost everything

I listen to so much music, but unfortunately my cd library is currently limited to the cd's I've been burning off limewire. My personal favorites are Bob Dylan (good traveling music), Tom Petty, Janis Joplin(on slow rainy days), radiohead, Bob Marley (of course, we be jammin!)
I like good jazz too, but I am unfamiliar with good jazz artists, if someone could recomend some music, I'd like to create a jazz cd, I can really dig jazz when I'm baked.
I don't really like any punk/ska/hard rock when I am stoned, it's too loud and "in your face" although when I am not stoned, I'll occasionally listen to my old nin cd's, some marilyn manson, sometimes some metallica and the red hot chili peppers.
The beatles never really grow old on me either, and when I am in a real funky strange place, I put on the eerie tunes of Mr. Jim Morrison of the Doors. That music really bends my mind. For some reason though, whenever I listen to Pink Floyd when stoned, I always get dizzy and get a headache. Weird eh?
P.S. I also listen to some rap and R@B, which a new friend of mine has recently made me appreciate, once you understand the messages and lifestyle.
Peace.

you should download some of pete rocks PETESTRUMENTALS. just type in petestrumentals and download "a little soul" or "smooth sailing" both are very jazzy with a dope hiphop beat and no words

you can try them out @ http://hiphopinfinity.com/Albums/PeteRock_01.htm if you have real player.

you can also download
battle axe warriors - puttin check down
eligh - chronic

both those have amazingly cool beats when you are high, and when you are not.

Default Good jazz

for starters, Miles Davis. If you own one jazz album it's almost always Kind of Blue, by Miles Davis. Some other good ones of his are *****es Brew, In a Silent Way, ESP, Nefertiti, hell, just if it's got Miles' name on it, it's good.

anything by John Coltrane, A love Supreme is the only one I can speak for, but the man's a genius.

Here's a list of others, remember, that Jazz is a very wide sweeping genre and means everything from swing-era big bands to experimental free jazz.

Dizzy Gillespie
Duke Ellington
Louis Armstrong
Art Blakey
Medeski, Martin, and Wood
Charlie Parker
Ornette Coleman
Cecil Taylor
Grant Green, Jr
John McLaughlin (especially his stuff with the Mahavishnu Orchestra)
Sun Ra
Weather Report
Jaco Pastorius
The Tony Williams Lifetime
Chick Corea
Herbie Hancock

That should keep you busy for a while
