Hey what's happening everybody, I just got that Afroman Cd- The Good Times on Tuesday and I just wanna let everybody know its a pretty dope Cd. Because I got High is on there and he got some other songs like "Crazy Rap" and "Let's all get Drunk" that are funny like Because i got High. yeah, afroman is dope. it's like....his music is so cheesy that it sounds good. i havent heard alot off his new album (cept for 'because i got high'), but my other faves of his are 'colt 45', 'let's all get drunk', 'sell your dope', and 'she won't let me f*ck'.

His song sells the idea that potheads are lazy and stupid. We're so close to legalization, and then we get this asshole coming along and telling everyone that pot is bad.

I don't think he ever said pot was bad, he just said what it did to him. It was his true life experience, it isn't like he is anti-marijuana....

That afroman cd is good, i was listening to it thursday night in a freinds car. Great music Though i don't like the song "cuz i was high" because after you hear it a few times you kinda get board as hell of it.

It doesn't matter that he's pro-pot. He's selling the idea that marijuana makes you lazy and stupid. And the song is huge, so everyone, including non-potsmoking voters, hear it. Not exactly the image we want to portray, is it?

He's pro-pot on practically every other song on the CD.

Additionally, he said in time magazine that he smokes.

People who don't smoke pot aren't gonna hear every other song on the CD, they're gonna hear the song about how pot makes you lazy and unmotivated, etc.

Of course he smokes. It's a little obvious, is it not?

He's a foe to people who are trying to dispell the myth that marijuana makes you lazy and stupid... though I'm beginning to wonder if it's just a myth.
