Default HOOKAH!!!!(kind of long)

Just got back from hookahville and I thought I'd tell everyone how it went.

I'll start off with the herb situation. Me and my bro found some a few eighths of BC stuff, a quarter of homegrown for $50(could have gone 50/eighth) and some amazing Afghani. Kept us high for two days and there is still plenty left. There was also a lot of hash going around and I picked a gram of blonde Lebanise.

On to the music. The All Mighty Senators kicked things off with some silly funky rock (Chuck Norris, chuck chuck, norris, what, Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan). Next uo was Little Feat, who were really really good. They jammed on The Band tune Rag Mama Rag with Sweeny from hookah and teased Dark Star during the encore. Then Hookah came out and played two incredible sets. Highlights were Gimme Shelter, Through Hiker, and a Dragonfly encore.

Now on to Saturday. John Bell from Widespread Panic started off and was pretty good, but I missed most of his set. Then came the Wailers. Yes, the Wailers. Reggae grooves as thick as the resin in my bong, I **** you not. And then came hookah, who were more amazing than the night before. A trippy as hell Slipjig through the Poppy Fields, another trippy vocal jam on Sister Sugar, the best Bone ever(with horns). And then the encore was even more insane! Started off with Bell Bottom Blues, and then they brought out a guest drummer and hookah's drummer sang a song. The song from Cheech and Chong's Up in Smoke when Cheech wore that Pink tutu. And yes, hookah's drummer was wearing the whole outfit. This descended into a drum circle where as many people as would fit on stage had some percussion and were banging away.

As always, I had a great time and had my mind blown several times. I still feel pretty fried. Kind bud, kind pholks, kind music. What else do you need? Just follow in the footsteps of ol' Bill, and come to Hookahville!
peace

it's worth it brother, that stuff was $60/eighth, which is the most you'll ever pay at a festival type event, and worth every cent. The second the guy took it out to show it to me, I could already smell the skunkiness. I had to walk around all day with it just sitting in my pocket, those pleasant aromas wafting up to my nose......

I saved most of it for the second set on saturday, with a little left over for today and tomorrow. Now I just gotta find some kind folks to spread the wealth around a little.
