| If you like drum and bass check out DJ Freaky Flow from Toronto. You can find his CD's at any HMV in canada pretty much, but in the states it might be a little harder. If you live in toronto, he plays almost every month mostly at downtown clubs. Also check out DJ Andy smith. He is the DJ for portishead, but he has put out some of his own material. If you like portishead, you'll love his ****. That is all | |

| I keep hearing about Fantastic Plastic Machine. I'm gonna have to check them out. Oh yeah, Stoned Philosopher, if you're still paying attention to this thread, if you're looking for ambient, with a little slower tempo check out Thievery Corperation, DJ Cam, anything from Ninja Tune or 18 street Lounge records will satisfy that need. Look em up on the internet. Have a smoke and enjoy! | |

| hey, wow, all the way from Japan. I'm in Los Angeles. I'll definitely check out FPM. I'm trying to think of other stuff I've heard from Japan. I'm prety sure DJ Krush is from there. Deep beats, some sultry vocals here and there. New album is great. Here's a question. Any Japanese artists using classical Japanese music in their tracks, maybe D&B or down tempo? Who would be the Japanese version of Bukem, if there even is one!! Something tells me that would give the music a really cool flavor. Now I've gone and rambled again! Sorry! PS DOn't worry about your English, it's a hard ass language to learn. I even screw it up sometimes! | |
