Genius or Madman? I think Richard D James is a freaking genius, he has produced some of the best ambient sounds (like Selected Ambient Works 86-92 and Vol 2) and also does some cool jungle.
And Richard is a genius because he helped spawn the genre and other artists like Autchre and Cerebral.

Both! Rich James is just incredible. I generally don't get into the electronic music thing, but his work is just unbelievable! Come to Daddy is one of the coolest songs ever. His videos are incredible too!

Word bro. Selected ambient works is the shiznit. I use to listen to that cd religiously. I also like Aphex Twin's, "I care because you do". Its a bit different from S.A.W., but its still ill.

Richard James did an incredible remix of Coil's 'The Snow'. Look it up on your favorite file sharing app. The remix is called The Snow's Answers Come In Dreams.

The new album is pretty wacky, its double cd and its sorta like the richard d james album but crazier. Though it has elements from the ambient works cds as well as weird piano tracks, all in all a good buy

This album shows that Rich just gets crazier and crazier
