Anything the Grateful Dead, Phish, Ekoostik Hookah, the Allman Brothers, String Cheese Incident, and many others. Everything you asked is true about each of those bands through the duration of a live show.

I think Tool makes some excelent music to chill to.

The Beta Band has some cool and relaxing songs. I recommend downloading 'Dry The Rain' for an idea of what they sound like.

Lately ive been listening to alot of 2pac, tech n9ne, and nelly for some reason. But thats only a good recomendation if you like rap. Alot of that stuff has good beats and the 2pac cds really have alot of insightfull stuff on them. well lates.
