Stealings fun!
No.. but..
I get my music half'n'half.
I burn some music to CD and I buy some CDs.
Most of the music I get off the internet is stuff that I either can't find it stores or is rare/live and can't buy.

In my opinion, Morpheus is the best place to share music, files, pr0n, whatever you're in to. I'd reccomend checking it out at www.musiccity.com Unfortunately, my school decided that we were all using too much bandwidth downloading mp3s and such that they blocked Morpheus! So now I use filetopia which is ALRIGHT, but still worth checking out at www.filetopia.com Another good one is Direct Connect, but I'm not sure of the web address for that one. I hope that helps out anyone looking for good sharing programs.

if you use proxys you can probably cloak the server ips... unless your school uses away to block other than server ip blocking.

I do have to say that will all the download-n-burn, buying a CD of an artist that I really like (mostly discovered by word of mouth and then mp3 download) has turned into almost an event. I remember going to the stores when they were still putting out the CDs in those long boxes, and would have no problem picking up 4 or 5 CDs that I wanted - but now that notion seems almost absurd. But, it does make the CD seem all the most special, almost like you are saying 'hey band - you deserve my money' - plus nothing beats sitting down with the CD for the first time and flipping through the liner notes.

Yeah, there's so much stuff to burn for free, I enjoy buying lesser known artists from Amazon, like Chris Smithers and Moldy Peaches. (Apologies if Chris is big in the states.)

I burn a lot of my friend's cds, it is wonderful. He has introduced me to so much great stuff that way. I also buy tons of used cds. A local record store sells used cds for $5 on Saturdays and they have a huge selection. I love shopping for cds.

I download a lot of mp3s but usually only a few songs at most off any given album. I just like to hear different stuff that I might like.

I also buy new cds, but only about 1 for every 4 used.

Music is great.

i usually order direct from the record label online but if it's something that i can't wait for, i go to one of the local record shops (waterloo or alien records). for rare and out of print titles i usually go the ebay route.
