The internet! Napster was a god, but well, now I use either Bear Share or Audio Galaxy. Burn em' on a CD and your good to go.

Used napster for a long time then i switched to audiogalaxy. I know its not fair with the artist and label and sh!t. But it cost like 1 dollar to make 1 cd, with the case and covers. But the stores charge like 25 bucks for it. sometimes i spend all my money on a cd, but i got pissed off at the labels. So now i buy them at the street sellers for 5 bucks. The cover sucks and sometimes the band name is mispelled but its cheap. Did you guys know that Brazil is the country makes more pirate cds than any other country in the world, even china makes less now! Woo hoo rock on!

Usually through trading or buying. I buy the studio albums from bands I like, especially young bands who need the support, and I trade live stuff at www.etree.org.

Most of the time I just download it off the net using Kazaa, but if I like at least 2 songs off of the cd and if I feel the band really deserves the money then I'll go buy it.

The only thing about Kaza is it installs that spyware whether you tell it too or not. So you have to be all smart and get rid of it

I don't even bother burning CDs off the net...It takes way too long, the audio sucks at less than 256kbps, and chances are that one or more of the tracks you get will be screwed up when you burn em. What I do is I swap CD folders with people I know, and we burn each others CDs...quite unethical, I know, but I actually do go out and buy the discs I like...there's something nice about a CD with a nicely printed title and the liner notes. My collection of studio CDs is 83 bought, 43 burned.

Of course, I also exchange live shows. I have upwards of 30 shows, listed on etree. PM me if you wanna get my list addy.
