Some of the 80s music sucked but some of my favorite stuff to come from the 80s was appetite for destruction by g n r, the cars greatest hits, motley crew, beastie boys license to ill ( i love that cd was in 2nd grade when it came out and still love every song) i know theres more but i cant remember right now

good and eighties...isn't that an oxymoron. Micheal Jackson had some pretty cool music in the 80's so did NIN. The 80's is one of those decades we are trying to forget. The 80's are why so many people started using drugs in the nineties.

Talking Heads...good.

There are a few other exceptions, but for the most part the 80s were a barren wasteland of musical taste.

excellent call deadhead. And lets not forget Phish got their start in the '80s. And what about Stevie Ray Vaughn? And the Dead played plenty of good shows in the '80s.
