I believe easy listening is the choice music for soccer moms. My mom didn't drive a van, but she drove a lot and my sister played soccer -- and she listened to easy listening.

What was that???? Had to turn down Zeppelin in my Mama Mobile...was just on my way to soccer practice when I saw this thread and had to pop in...

...You'd be surprised to hear what we Mama's listen to on the radio...but it's the tunes in our heads that would REALLY blow your mind...

Yep.....my mother doesnt listen to that Enya Garbage...thank god

she likes Elton JOhn, Peter Gabriel, Queen, Pink Floyd, awesome stuff.

What really hacks me off though, is that the original version of that latest Enya song came out like a year ago, they finally stopped playing it on the radio, then they remixed it and rereleased it for the american market. NOW i have to listen to Rick Dee's with that song on. Isnt listening to americas coolest DJ bad enough putting up with Britney Spears, Nsync etcetera, but now we have to deal with enya too......just shoot me now

i was just about t start a thread to ask the ask question.

to camd0g1 : you just dont understand. this irish broad is bad.

the new song is pretty good but orinoco flow is as much an experiment in sound as a jimi hendrix song . that song is so classic. i think it came out in the 80s but whenever it did its one the best songs ever recorded. simply put , the song is flawless. the best part is the change when she goes:

"turn it up , turn it up, turn it up , ba ba doo"

" ooh , ooh"

" turn it up , turn it up, turn it up , ba ba doo"
that song is good whether your high or not
