| Trust me on this one, this is some of the weirdest radio I've ever heard. The Shirley and Spinoza show was an audio collage of sorts, similar to Negativland in a lot of ways. They played found audio and remixed it with other audio. The sources range from World War 2 era BBC broadcasts to contemporary experimental audio. It's absolutely insane and is a howl. Check it out. Free Radio Berkeley has since been shut down by the FCC but Shirley and Spinoza have a 24/7 webcast you can access by entering the following adress into winamp or whatever audio program accepts streaming broadcasts: 205.188.234.67:8004 | |
