| spade: you're ignorant. not all rap is 'dumb speaker vibrating thumps', or 'crappy gangsta gangsta bull'. i'm tired of people like you coming along and dissing a genre of music without even having been properly introduced to it. me, personally, i hate korn and disturbed. i think they're both sellouts, but you don't see me dissing the whole alternative/metal/punk genre because of a couple of bad bands. i know that many bands in that genre have tons of talent (incubus, for example). maybe you should listen to some del, company flow, souls of mischief, athletic mic league or binary star and stop making such biased generalizatons.

| so sorry to insult you with my ignorance. unfortunately, i never said ALL rap was bad. that part was a personal preference. and i have been properly intoduced into the world of hip hop, i have friends that spin records that love that **** and i have heard plenty of it. not just the mainstream crap. and i am tired of upitight jerks like you goin off and calling someone ignorant for expressing their opinions. if you dis on someone for expressing themselves then you are the ignorant one alright. lay off. calm yourself down, smoke more. damn. seriously, its discussion, lets not turn it into some childish insult fest alright. i was merely stating that the basslines,( i did mention lyrics but that wasn't the poin that was just more of my opinion and not the part to be focussing on here), are plain and simple, awesome. especially with a nice system. and i can't actually believe i said korn i take that back, i don't even like corn and their bass sucks. i must've been sober. anyway, i apologize for spilling my ignorance all over the subject, i didn't mean to step on your toes, maybe i will just keep my opinions to myself and become an opinionless retard like the rest of american society. oh and by the way, screw you for judgin me, prick. | |

oh, and please understand that this is a thread for 'bass songs/rap suggestions'. i got a little offended when you came in with your post basically telling Icer to abandon his musical tastes because they didn't include 'substance'. "seriously, its discussion, lets not turn it into some childish insult fest alright." "screw you for judgin me, prick." umm...what's wrong with this picture?? you're welcome to post your opinions, but don't bother if you don't want people to react to them. | |

| i dont mean to interrupt a vicious argument but i would like to recommend some bass music. i will be going old school if you dont mind( dont worry , i speak jive) one of the first bass songs was "throw that dick" by luke skywalker( before george lucas sued them) great bass on that. and get some mc shy d songs. he had an album. " got to be tough" is the most well known one. peter piper by run dmc has a lot of bass but you probably already have that one. dumb girls and even my addidas by run dmc have a lot of bass since were on that def jam type thing, l.l. cool j 's rock the bells, and candy have bass. more on rock the bells. theres song from down south called roll it up my nigga that samples slide by slave( do you know who slave is?) that song has a lot of bass. the d.o.c's first album has good bass. especially on masterpiece . i think the production on records from the west coast was better when eazy -e was alive. there's a southern song called techmaster b.e.g. outerbass a song called miami. i dont know if it has a lot of bass but you could get thats just my baby's daddy. | |

| planet rock by soulsonic force , the original electro song, has some pretty good bass in it. maybe you should go through the electro collection. they dont have full songs( only names and artists) but you could start on electroempire.com . http://www.electroempire.com there is another electro site that has full songs but i have to look in my favorites list for that. i'll get it later. check out clear by cygertron on that site. i dont know how deep you get into house but some of the classic 80s chicago house songs with bass include " love cant turn around by farley. "kiss me" by farley. "i fear the night" by Tyree. " fantasy girl" by d.j. pierre. then there is the newer school of house with what are called ghetto tracks. they are very fast with a lot of bass. theres " bang bang bang, skeet, skeet skeet". theres beat that ***** with a bat ,etc. there bounce your big booty( the original ghetto track. i dont know where you live so it might be kind of hard to get this stuff if your not in chicago . | |
