Talking The beauty of live music

Why are concerts so much better than the CD? Well we all know why i guess. The crowd, the lights, the band and the music making you chest thump with every beat.
I went to a concert a couple days ago and this band rocks. I smoke 2 joints with 2 girls i never met. And all i can remeber is that i had a great time. The night was cold and the concert was indoors so you can imagine how hot and wet was inside that box, in the begging i fest kinda of sick of all the wet bodies touching me and i "could" the air flowing inside my lungs with all that humidity(sp?). But after i got really baked it felt like i was in a pool. And everything was in slow motion i saw every detail. The a mix of body vapors, weed and cig smoke going up and clouding everything. The lights hitting the smoke and making weird effects that made me stop and just stand there and look at the lasers. for a couple seconds everything went quiet. It was the concert turned into mute and all i could see was the light, the smoke, the crow jumping and my body feeling the music like some megical force flowing thru my body. My head was thumping like crazy. Then my friend grabed me and asked why i stopped and told me to stop acting so stoned. I told him that the music was way too loud and my brain was running out of my nose (i had i runny nose)
he told me to shut up and wake up. While i was walking behind my friend i saw this beatiful girl and all the sudden somebody pressed the mute button again. And some ray of light shined right on the girl like it was a sign from the musical gods for me to go there and talk to her. I walked to her and noticed i couldnt talk right so i thought something like this "i lost my friend so i could talk to this chick, but i cant talk. Well i need to do something" i walked behind her and grabbed her butt it felt pretty good, thinking about it now it was a dumb move she turned to me and tryed to knee me in the balls but she hit my leg. i thing i said thanks and went on. i found all my friends in a cicle with a body in the middle, one of my friends drank way too much (again!) i wanted to kick him but when i saw his puked shirt i just felt sorry for him, whats the point of getting drunk and not enjoy the beauty of live music? i drank some too, and it probably helped me enjoy the music some more, but you have to know your limits.
The band played their final tune i went up the the pit and jumped as much i my body would handle. my legs were aching like a SOB but i kept on jumping i had wat too much adrenaline in my system to stop now. The band left the stage and everything went silent again, nobody pressed the mute button this time, everydoby was just tired and some sat down some lit their last joint of the night and some like my friend were puking their guts out. I could here people saying what part they liked the most and how freaking hot was inside that thing. When the person said that i noticed that i was soaking wet! looked like i was in a wet tee contest. i went out. bad move! it was cold as sh!t i could feel little ice crystals form on my face (it wasnt that cold, but i was chilly maybe 20°C and windy). I sat on the grass looked at the moon and just thought what a great night i had. I went home still a little baked. Music is better live the CD doesnt have the same vibe

Any similar stoned thoughts?

Nothing beats live music. And I mean nothing. When you're seeing a band creating muxic right there in front of you, you get the energy that they are putting into it. And then the whole audience sends it back. Its like a circle. I always leave a show with this super aware feeling. Even if i was smoking i don't really feel high, but I'm still "high." They do say that dancing is a form of meditation. I believe it.

I've said it many times, music opens you up to another form of consciousness. It makes you aware of another plane, or several other planes. It's the best drug in the world, and quite possibly the most addictive too, but it doesn't have a single negative side effect. Except maybe being a little sore from dancing until dawn.

tA live show is like one big party and everybody knows everybody and everybody is loving it. With the crowd all going to the same music, and the band playing with so much energy, everybody just connects through he music and its great.
~peace~
