| I haven't seen a post on Staind yet, I saw one from like 5 months ago but just about Break the Cycle. So does anyone like Staind? I figured I might as well post about them since Aaron Lewis is on the cover of High Times this month. Personally I love the band, the singles are all great as well as the other songs on all 3 of their cd's. Though I like more of the soft rock on their cd's the real heavy stuff is also good sometimes. But hey, give me your opinons on the band, favorite songs, etc. jd |

| "although its been a while since ive heard those songs" Lol i dont know if thats meant to be a joke, but thats kinda funny cause its been awhile is the poppest staind song out right now ![]() Anyway i think staind is ok, im not big on soft rock but they are local and sing about real issues, so i have to give them some props. Also i know where Aaron Lewis lives mwa haha. Hes about 20 minutes from my house. I just may have to talk with him if he is on the cover of high times hehe. Cleric![]() |

| I personally think they suck, "its been awhile" my ass. What the hell do they have to complain about, their making millions of dollars. Their just another MTV wash out band that we will soon all forget in another year or so, to make way for some more crap. | |

| Whoa bro dont go that far, these guys by all means have never had it easy. You think its cool living out here? Trust me its a social nothingness, you see mullets everyday, most jobs pay you absolutely dick, just enough to pay bills it seems, and you really have very few chances to escape it Besides you have to understand that when they wrote these songs they didnt have dick going for them, and staind wasnt a house hold name, and mtv wouldnt give them the time of day. I may not be a fan of the music but as far as these guys being real people, hell i will vouch for them. Cleric![]() |

| what do you mean out here? I'm out here working a **** job for **** pay going nowhere. But none of it matters anyway, it pointless to get depressed over a lost cause, thats when one needs to rise above it or you will be taking down by it. Getting back to staind, I don't know how "real" you might call them. They have that same "real illusion" that we all get fed. Obviously not much for prinicpale's since it didn't take them long to sell out feeling the lure of god($$$$) to give them more of a reason to boast about their past recollections as if we where suppose to give a damn, and maybe feel something for them. All and all they will keep pushing out the crap if you are willing to spend your hard earned dollar on it, they will try and keep you entertained for one minute longer. To keep you from seeing just how meaningless it was in the first place . | |

hell i dont even go to movies anymore i just download them cause its free.. sucks not having a car/job or places to go. But on Staind their music is about life issues about abuse and neglect, etc. They didn't have it easy. The point here shouldn't be if they had it easy or not, I think, it should be if the music truly connects to people, isnt that what its all about man? The music. | |

| IMHO reading your critique of a band you just plainly don't like,is a real BUMMER as was the rest of your reply. And I don't think that, just because I happen to like "stained". b.suede
