| CLUBFOOT: Ooo. Good one. I know another with a Barry Manilow fetish, I think it may be Steve Kimock (Zero) or Trey Anastasio (Phish) or some other jamhead. They said something to the effect of "You take away the white suits and the bad hair, and those are pretty decent songs." Anyway, that made me think of "Piano Man" by Billy Joel, which is another of mine. DoritosMan: I was going to put that, but I decided that deep down I don't like the song. Freebird, I do like though. | |

| You know, I tried for so long to think of something I'd be embarrassed to say I liked, and I'm having such a hard time. I'd say there's some generic rock from the later '70s and early '80s that I enjoy from time to time. AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd kinda stuff (although I can no longer listen to Sweet Home Alabama, Freebird or Call me the Breeze always gets the radio cranked to 11), Boston, and I can't remember the name of the band for the life of me, but I swear it sounds like he's saying "blinded by the light, wrapped up like a douche another runner in the night." I know that can't be the lyric, but I've listened over and over and that's the only thing that makes sense. A few other bands like that, and that's all that pops into my head right now, if I think of more, I'll be back!

| I think liking Frank Zappa is a guilty pleasure... (though I have to be in a good mood to listen to him- alot of his songs are annoying) |

| Bailey: Electric Light Orchestra It was a Bruce Springsteen song, but ELO covered it and it became famous with them. The chopsticks part in the middle always cracks me up I looked up the lyric a while back..."Revved up like a deuce, another motor in the night." I thought the same thing, as have many others ![]() Tokey: Zappa's always good. The corniness is what was his genius. ![]() | |

| if you have never heard bruce springsteen's original version of that song you have to get a copy. his version is so different from the remake that you wouldnt even recognize it . when you hear springsteen's version you will go" oh. now i get it" but back to our delicious topic. although i have already dropped the atom bomb of guilty pleasures i still have a few other nuclear weapons. ever heard of this group?: the bee gees " how deep is your love" " more than a woman" " thicker than water"( love is--------------higher than a mountain love is thicker than water. oh! what a song) " islands in this stream" kenny rogers and dolly parton " emotion" --recently remade by destiny's child | |

| how about country music? " i love a rainy night" and " drivin my life away" by eddie rabbit "lookin for love" (in all the wrong places. lookin for love in too many faces...) " i got friends in low places" then we could go to the 80s " i eat cannibals" by toto quelo(the video had the female singers dancing around while wearing black plastic garbage bags.) " i'll tumble for you" by culture club | |

| I was watchig the Country Music Television when visiting parents. Anyone seen the video for the new Garth Brooks song? I like the part in the beginning. Also, Tainted Love, Mansons version. I dunno why. Dream on by Depeche Mode. I am only ashamed of who does that one though. I love the song. Dead or Alive - You Spin Me Right Round! | |

"raindrops keep fallin on my head. but that doesnt mean my eyes will soon be turning red. cryin's not for me cause. im never gonna stop the rain by complainin. because im free. nothin's worryin me" ( horn sound--wah----wahwahwah) whew ! thats a guilty pleasure. | |
