| I love Classical music. Normal circumstances I woudl not think so. But Classical music, unlike normal songs today, move and change to tell a musical story. Sorta. You know what I mean. But normal songs today have that one catchy part with that one hard chorus. So when I am high, i like Classical music. SOmetimes techno cause it builds and adds to itself and my mind just likes to break it down while I am high. Also some bands like tool and a few others like them that have loooong songs (oh! Pink floyd too) build and change and tell stories like classical music does. My favortie classical piece is In the Hall of the Mountain King (Grieg?). It is hard and fast. i love it. I want to know: What is the theme song for the Halloween movies? What is that one christmas song that is kinda dark and brooding? Anyone know any good classical songs that are fast and do not put the listener to sleep? | |

| What is that one christmas song that is kinda dark and brooding? Carol of the Bells? or maybe Greensleeves Anyone know any good classical songs that are fast and do not put the listener to sleep? Here are some of my favorite up-tempo works: Concerto for 2 Harpsichords in C Minor, 1st Movement by J.S. Bach (BWV 1062) Concerto for 3 Harpsichords in A Minor, 1st and 3rd Movements by J.S. Bach (BWV 1065) Spring from the Four Seasons suite by Vivaldi "Allegro Maestoso" from the Water Music suites by Handel I don't know if I should recommend this, seeing how over-commercialized the song has become as of late, but you might also like "O Fortuna" by Carl Orff from the opera. Go to cdnow.com and listen to the sample. I'm sure you've heard it before. | |

| to get me to listen to classical, and I remember leaving thru the back door to get away from it. I guess I didn't run fast enough, because my woman is a classical cellist and pianist that was trained in New York. When we got together,we made a deal to share everything, and that included the music, plus she had the bomb system,so it was kinda like intruding into her system. She had heard of the Grateful Dead, but had never been to Terrapin.Of course,I'd never heard of Chopin or Mozart or Chi whats-his-name, either. We both learned.Boy did we. Mozarts Piano Concerto 26 or Beethovens Piano Sonata Patheique.(sp.).Try these first. One I like and one she likes.Enjoy! ![]()
