| does anyone out there listen to the spacey music radio show called star streams when they smoke? i have been listening to this show since i was a freshman in high school. as a reference, when i started listening to it, dr. ruth's sex show was at the height of its popularity. the music has changed over the years. when i started listening, the music had almost no percussion if any. it was totally ambient before the term was invented . i liked it best when it was like that but it is still great .especially when you are smoking. you fell like you are floating. some people even own a pair of those glasses that have pulsating lights that they can wear to enhance the effect. | |

| well. i live in chicago and the station that airs it here is a smooth jazz station. some people call it jazz fusion. ia not sure but think you can buy cd compilations of the shows music at record stores. in the middle of writing this i checked the web and found their web page here it is:http://www.starstreams.com/ i think yu can listen to music on that page. you can take it from there. check the local jazz fusion station in your town. its the best music to smoke weed to hands down. | |

| I've always thought as smooth jazz as the very commericalized form of fusion. For real fusion check out the mahavishnu orchestra, which you won't be hearing on a smooth jazz station anytime soon. There's a thread on them open, run a search if interested.

| no. no. no. bailey 1138. i hate jazz fusion. i said the show star streams is aired on a jazz fusion station in chicago. thats the only place i can hear it. other than that two hour show every sunday night the station plays nothing but jazz fusion. i never listen to anything other than that show. the music on star streams has nothing to d with jazz fusion what so ever. i have heard some pieces that cant even be described as music. four minutes of nothing but floaty strings with an occasional sound effect is a good example of the type of music on the show. there is not a better form of music for smoking to. | |

| I know dude, I was having a conversation. You incorrectly called smooth jazz fusion, and I corrected you. Not every post has to be 100% on topic in a lightly moderated forum. |
