any of you like ska music?

I think it is thebest kind of music..

My favorite band is Reel Big Fish.
went to their concert a while back and it was just great..best concert ive been to

I hear ya im a big ole skank at heart. I love Reel Big Fish! I saw them awhile ago at a place called Pearl Street. Pretty nice show.

Ever heard of Big D and the kids table? Or Kicked in the head, they are more of a swing ska kinda sound but they rock so its all good. Other than that Catch 22 is a damn good ska band as well. And i dont know what most people consider them but i think Cake is ska, and very good ska at that.

wow...i thought i was actualy the only person who listened to ska...all my friends say its too annoying. i've heared of those bands but not catch 22...i might have to check them out =]

every here of The Hippos?

some people say they are ska but others say they arent...what would you consider them to be?

I really dig a bunch of old ska. Reggae music is so deeply rooted in ska that it's impossible to like one without liking the other (in my opinion)

Catch 22 is one of my favorite bands ever. I do a slower cover on the song Keasbey Nights just because I lose my breath tryin to sing the chorus that fast.

Less Than Jake is cool too. I have a couple of their cds and they're really awesome.

Sublime of course and some Choking Victim and Operation Ivy
is really good to. I haven't heard much ska I really didn't like other than like the OC Supertones or somethin like that.

reggae and jamaican music in general i would have to claim as my favorite

a pet peeve of mine is when people call punk music SKA

(i dont mean like straight punk i mean bands that dont know what dub means and they have horn sections)

skankin pickel

skatalites

bob marley-some of his ska material with the wailers (although usually he was more rock ish)

toots hibbert

krugal

no doubt pre 98
